In the cold Himalayan Valley of Kashmir, the rare Changthangi goat produces a fine cashmere wool, known as Pashmina.
This wool, incredibly soft and only 12 to 16 microns thin, is hand-combed in Ladakh and expertly spun in Kashmir, where our partner Artisans craft it into beautiful shawls using centuries-old techniques.
Revered as “the world’s finest fabric” Pashmina is celebrated for warmth, lightness and unmatched softness, with each shawl reflecting Kashmir’s legacy of traditional embroidery and weaving styles.
What exactly is Pashmina ?
